We met up with some cool people and got the experience to listen to Elder Ballard. Words from a wise man that touched many.
Recap from that nite':
Become the best teachers in the history of the church
Don't sleep walk through your mission
Be a little bolder
Look for miracles- the lord will show us the way
Costin one of our investigators who we met up with over at the J Nelsons' place. Really wanted to emphasize on Repentance and the blessing we see with it. He has been struggling with alot of things in his life but never seems to get things in order. But its only the little steps he strives to overcome sin and let the lord work within him. Met with more of the members here and learned alot from them. Realized that being here in Buch most of the members here are here tempoaray and leave after a few months. Most of them are here are here solely based for work. The Carnell family are an amazing family who have two wonderful children. Had to be creative with this family and realized that Thanksgiving is coming up so we had a nice activity with the children making Hand Turkey and sharing what we were thankful for. Lifes greatest oppertunity for us is serving others without asking. Super chill being with children showing me their dance moves' something I guess called The Whip n Nae Nae'. lol. Sora Geta a lovely soul who loves to have the missionaries over and we shared with her briefly on gratitude and how we as members can continue to reach out to others in need and live like our Savior daily. When I walked into her home I realized she had a Tongan temple picture in her home I was super stoked and she told me that she met another missionary who served here and left her a note. I was just stoked to see it up on her closet frame. TONGA' ALL THE WAY. haha. jus kiddn' So far still alive in Buch and fed super good this week pretty much a international food week for us.
This week we went contacting on the busy streets of Buch which I love because you just catch people standing around waiting for the bus and you just start talking with them. We went English Contacting with the street board and then the conversation changes to gospel related. Really cool way of interacting with others. Stoked for our first week of English but kind of nervous because really never taught a class more than 5 people. hahaha. Should be chill tho. Got to play some futsol at a indoor arena with the young men. Super chill and funny watching the mission presidents' son. lol Eventhough we lost, Ellis was the MVP for the nite. Hope everyone enjoy their Thanksgiving and remember to be THANKFUL for every little thing in life. Alrite then yall jah bless and have a good week.
