Me and my comp were at Penny Market and we see this lil kid with his mother while waiting in line to check out. My comp decides to kneel a lil lower towards the kids level and greets him and ask in Romanian "What your name?" and the kid looked up and gave him a ugly look and said Lasă-mă-n pace! (Leave me alone in peace) The lil kid turns and walk towards his mother. I couldn't stop laughing at my comp for a bit. The phrase seems to be common in this area of Romania. lol.
HAPPY FATHERS' DAY
This week has been truly awesome and full as far as our schedules being booked. Going on exchanges with E.Sookou in Oradea was cool and treating me out basically the whole day. Played a good joke on me with having me extend a invitation for baptism to this investigator who apparently just got baptize 2 weeks ago. Long story to explain but it was funny. Yesterday was great for Zone Training down in Timmi. Learned alot espically from Brother Mason who teaches at University in Timmi with Mormonism. Scholarly Professor giving a lesson but that the main focus from his lecture for all us is, "Are we willing to put our gifts upon the alter like Joseph Smith?" When he imposed the question to all of us he was referring to how we all have gifts in this life and how Joseph has the gift of seership when he translated the Book of Mormon. To know that we all have gifts and some are different from others. But to keep in mind that we should use our gifts now so that we build up into the kingdom of God. Zone training was informative and kept us up to date and to always keep in mind in finding the ONE. Alrite then everyone until next time.
