Time goes by too quick. Wished that transfers could of stayed the same but I guess not. I know my companion will do great things in a new city. Sora Gibson & Elder Chatterton have left an impact towards the branch here in Arad espically and the people they have come accross. Truly thankful for their examples and ways here in Arad. I know they will do amazing things.
One thing I learned this week from Elder Smith (Senior Missionary) is to be bold and blunt with people.Lol. Not that hard I think. A investigator we met up with and one that I met for the first time named Emil cool dude. One thing is that he had alot of promblems and seems to be having a hard time with life in general. HATEs his JOB, ARAD/ROMANIA, and WEIGHT. Kept complaining about any little thing about his job but seems to stay working there. His English is very good you couldn't even tell that he is from Romania. He has a eating disorder of Binge eating. But I was confused at first because in my head I was thinking Can their be Fat People who Binge? Glad I got that answer cleared from Elder Smith I got Bulimia and Binge eating confused. I remember Elder Smith showed us split diagram of how the Lord works versus Satan on his phone earlier before meeting up with Emil. I remember how the adversary can work easily among people and make people feel low at all times. When kept talking about what he's going through, I cut him off and said "dude if your tired of job and not happy leave. I know it maybe hard to find a new job, but think how much of blessing it is to even have a job. Just think of how many people would kill to have your spot." He looked up and got up and sat across the end of room. I was just laughing inside. When my comp asked what he felt about the lessons they taught with him a while back. His answer was that he just like hanging out with us and that he wants nothing with the church. Just sitting there listening to him made think of how negative people may view life on a day-to-day basis. Its normal in some cases but we should continue to look at life in postive aspect no matter what the situation. The lord will always be their if we continue to follow his teachings and recognize His sacrifice. The next day we met up with Elder Smith to talk about Emil and he told us how we should be more bold and blunt with our investigator. Elder Smith always has a positive view when it comes to potential investigators. In my head I was thinking not this one. Jk. I know every worth of soul' is worth saving'. But me and my comp we looked Elder Smith like good luck. Going over what happened with Emil, I told Elder Smith what I thought right now he may not be ready but he needs a Nutritionist, Therapist, and The Lord. One Lesson I learned this past week.
