Hope everyone will have a nice 4th of July with fireworks and all. Crazy to think 16 months out on the mission just flies by. Truly thankful for my time here and continue to put my all through my time here in Romania.
This week for us was another slow week. Lets just say me and cats don't go. I was already sick and got a bad allergic reaction to holding a small kitten. It ended up looking like I went in to boxing ring and fought myself with two black eyes and busted lip. Thats how I looked like for a few days. Thanks to CocaCola glasses for hiding the end result. So after recovering from that my comp and I decided to go hit up the Hotel Flora and just block knock the whole Hotel hoping that some Nigerian would listen to our message. We wanted to use the new videos for the BOM that issued out in our mission. But by the time we got to the Hotel the front desk told us "Everyone MOVE out" in my head we had to come up with something. I just hated being inside for a few days and all I wanted to do is just something or meet up with anyone. Luckily, we met up with Festos who is super chill Nigerian who loves the Lord to the fullest. And he respects how we share the message of God with people here. All I can say is Nigerian know the Bible in the back of their heads. Literally. There are times where I like freeze trying recollect what they just said and respond back. But thankful for companions who just burst out real quick. But Festos and his friends are really receptive and nice about learning about Christ. We hope to meet up with Marius this week and pray that he will get baptized by the end of this month. His mom always calls us and makes sure we pray for her family. Its really cool saying prayer with them as we end our nites. Loving the work and striving for more.
