Found out that I was getting transferred to the big city Bucharest'. Sad to leave Sibiu, the Bairs', members, and all the awesome people that I have met. Been a blessing to share with those in any way about the gospel.
Hey this week was quite a blessing in disguise. We were able to meet up with Mihai at his home finally. I honestly felt like from the word of mouth from other missionaries that have served in Sibiu always say "oh he's an eternal investigator" and that he won't get baptized because he wants an orthodox baptism. But I am truly thankful for previous missionaries who have come across with him and even helping in with his garden. They all have planted a seed in his soul and allowed him to grow spiritually. I know that in that sense we can only try and ask and see where he is at in the gospel and let him decide. We met up with him and talk briefly on how he found the church and how he felt about the gospel. Being in tune with the spirit we went over the baptismal questions with him briefly. He answered yes to all the question's but will still need to go over some baptismal questions with him on certain topics. So we set the date for the 21 of November but we have to push it back a week because of the Elder Ballard and Brother Kearon coming to Buch. I am super excited for him and his decision to be baptize.
Happy to go to Deva to meet with some of the members and I hope that they reopen that city because it has so much potential. Their were 6 members yesterday and the previous time there was 7 members. Each time visited their was at least one person paying tithing. One of the members their didn't partake of the sacrament when we there yesterday. And he wanted to know when can he partake of the sacrament because it had been 3 years since he last partook of the sacrement. When Elder Bair told him that lets do the the sacrament now. The members face was filled with joy and bear hugged Elder Bair. Partaking of the sacrament is a daily reminder for us to always remember our savior.
Being that I am leaving into a new city, I am excited but super nervous coming into a new city especially here in Buch. But I look forward to working hard and making miracles happen here in Buch. Excited to serve again with familiar faces and more people in the big city.
