This week was really cool experience. With English halfway done from the people we have met up with has been a really cool for us. This past week I have had alot of 30-30 lesson with alot of my students throughout the week and been able to share so much about our church in various ways. Object lessons, Resto, MyFamily booklet. It has just given me so much knowledge to share with my students and separately. Being in a trio has allowed us to teach at the church so much and sometimes are time schedule has at times overlapped to a point where we end up teaching at the same time. Most rewarding experiences are when students want to take lessons about the gospel and our church. One student in particular was funny Carmen who is bankteller at NationalBank here in Pitesti. She seemed shy in my first class but when I taught separately with her cousin and her it was really funny. Comedian and a future actress. She covered so many accents in a minute so funny if had recorded her. She wanted to practice so much in English because of her family. After English portion of the lesson, I shared my family story booklet with them and pictures. I emphasized the one thing I loved most about this gospel is how families can be together forever for all time and eternity. The spirit was strong because she cried during my lil story time. I paused and let her have her moment. She got up and shared her family situation and how she is widowed and single mother now. It was so much at first because I let her go on for almost an hour. Romanians they love to talk. I have come to realize how much she wanted to hear more about how she can be with her own famil forever. So we set up to meet up with her this week at her home with her kids. I was really impressed in how eager she wanted to learn more about the gospel. We hope that her family can feel the spirit as we share powerful message with them later on this week. Another cool experience came with member from Buc' Geniveve came to church this past Sunday randomly with her boyfriend Razvan. Man all I can say Geniveve is filipino missionary on the go. Her Boyfriend is from Pitesti and she wanted us to teach him as much as possible. Love her because her faith is so strong she is not scared to bear her testimony on the spot. She came in Sunday and wanted a lesson with her Boyfriend to give him some exposure to the gospel. The lesson was on the spot because E.Evans & Erickson headed upstairs to help the BPresident with branch work. I quickly grabbed a member to follow through and teach in with me on the Resto and Book of Mormon. I can tell Razvan was super tired and kept going crosseyed sometimes but it was cool. I had to speak louder to get his attention. Razvan a young adult who works at a factory 13 hour shift a day who is willing to listen to the message we have to share. Marius started off the lesson I had to knee him at times so that we stay on track and made sure he didn't talk too much. Overall, it went great loved the fact how Geniveve bore a strong testimony of hoping to find an eternal companion to take her to the temple and how the message we have is true. I gave Marius a hint that its also for him too. lol. We look forward to meeting up with him this week. She shared something that was important to always remember that we should strive for greater through temple work. I look forward to meeting with these possible investigators and hoped that they can see the blessings it has to offer.
